This logic board consists of a 1.6GHz Dual-Core i5 processor chip with 8GB PC3-17000 (2133MHz) integrated ram and 128GB of integrated flash storage. This logic board has an integrated graphics card, Intel UHD Graphics 617 with 1.5GB of VRAM which is shared with the system.
These logic boards have a battery disconnect button which must be held down to fully discharge the battery before any work is carried out on the machine. There is a small LED that will be lit if there is power to the logic board, once these LED switches off the battery can be safely disconnected. This is a highly static-sensitive device and replacement should not be attempted without suitable experience and anti-static precautions. If you remove the heat sink from the logic board, the seal must be re-made adequately when the new board is fitted to ensure the MacBook Air does not overheat.
